Aeronautical Collectables & Aviation Collectables
|
 |
From here you can find your way to all
of our Aeronautical Collectables content. We list some
of our stock of Aviation Collectables and Aviation Clothing
- there is also a Features section, which we will add
to over time. The stock pages are arranged in categories
which are subdivided into countries of origin - we hope
this makes these pages easy to navigate.
Selling prices are now listed alongside all stock items,
these are quoted in UK Pounds (£). If you have a
specific question concerning an individual item, or require
a more detailed image, please contact us, we will respond
as soon as possible.
Ordering
Please read our Terms
& Conditions. We will soon have an "online"
Order Form, until it is operational you will need to contact
us, detailing your requirements. We will then provide
a firm quotation (inclusive of packing, delivery and insurance
costs) together with details for secure Credit Card payment
through PayPal.
Updates
We endeavour to update our stock listing at the start
of each month. The stock status indicator buttons are
updated more frequently, but we cannot guarantee that
any item marked as available has not been sold!
Web Log
Our stock is constantly changing, so it's not possible
to list the full inventory, or update the stock pages
on a daily basis. We have recently introduced a Web
Log which we will use to notify visitors of new stock
and other snippets of information - we hope you'll find
this useful.
Collectors
If you have a specialist interest, or need that unique
piece to complete your collection, please ask - we have
many unlisted items. If not in our current stock, we may
know where to source it for you!

The Key to the D Day Landings
Take
a look at this previously unpublished story in our Aeronautical
Features section. It is based on an account
from a Wireless Operator/Air Gunner who was attached
to 518 Squadron based on the Isle of
Tiree, Inner Hebrides, during WWII.
I discovered this record of eight men's bravery as
a result of the chance purchase of an RAF Irvin Flying
Jacket. After some research, I was able to reunite that
jacket with its original wartime owner - Warrant Officer
John Bristow. Part of John's story is already published,
if you have not seen it, you can find it here.
When I first met John he mentioned that, as well as
his brush with death in the North Atlantic in November
1944, he had previously been involved with an extremely
"hush hush" operation. That
Op had had an impact on the timing and strategy for
the allied invasion of Europe - Operation Overlord.
