Trench Art Propeller Tip Picture Frame
This example came in with item 4402 and looks to have been made by the same hand. This one carries a carved eagle and could possibly represent the Royal Navy Air Service. The propeller is made from laminated mahogany and as it features dowel construction, it is an early propeller almost certainly dating to WWI. The base of the frame has been ornately carved while the reverse features a stand for table display. It simple needs for the new owner to add a photograph or painting to the glazed opening to complete. Measures 13" (33cm).
