MGB Sports Car with RAF connection!
On offer is the highly desirable 'chrome bumper' version which was first registered 26 March 1974 and has been with the current owner since July 1986. In the last ten years the car has been professionally restored including many new body panels and new interior including leather trim. Due to work commitments the owner has had little opportunity to enjoy her and she has been stored in a dry lock-up garage since 1989, during which time she has covered approximately 200 miles! She has, however, been maintained in roadworthy condition throughout and had her new Ministry of Transport (MOT) issued on 19 June 2009. She is fitted with overdrive, wire wheels and a soft top although a hard top could be available by separate negotiation if required. The car is owned by our neighbour's son and any negotiations would be direct with the owners. She is garaged here in central Somerset (South West England). She is one of the last of the true British sports cars with the additional benefit of having the registration RAF 669M which will appeal to all you RAF collectors!
