Size 10 (44) Have been mismatched at some stage, but appear to have been worn as a pair, both named to "Beaton". Original A.M. stamped Lightning zips, professionally resoled, excellent galosh. Rare to find such a nice example in large size.
353Irvin Flying Jacket - Click for the bigger pictureSoldIrvin Flying Jacket - RAF, issued in 1942 as a replacement. The owner, a Hurricane pilot, lost his previous one when he was shot down over the English Channel. His personal identification "B" (Bob) is still painted on the chest. All original A.M. zips, some repair sections, but superb historical jacket. Chest size approx. 41" (104cm).
