RAF Inner Flying Gloves

Designed to be worn under 1933 pattern gauntlets, but were often worn alone particularly by fighter pilots. Early production used silk, while later these would have been made from synthetic silk or rayon. These being 1944 dated are probably of the later material. Broad arrow property marked and stamped S.G. Ltd. Minor staining, but generally in very good issued condition with no holes. The gloves are a matched pair in size 9 1/2 making the stores ref. 22C/262.
