RAF Mk VII Flying Goggles

Stores ref. no. 22C/826. This example is the rare first pattern introduced in July 1942 and features a sprung leather back strap as opposed to the webbing strap of the later mark. Nicely stamped on the nose bridge with AM and the stores ref. no. Mount for flip down visor and fitted with clear lenses. Showing minor service wear but overall in exceptional condition. This pattern is becoming increasingly hard to find.
