WAAF Other Ranks WWII Pattern Service Cap

Another item that came in with a small WAAF collection we have recently bought. This is example is a very nicely made replica that has clearly had very little use. The cap is in excellent order with no damage and the lining is factory fresh. A brass kings Crown badge is fitted; this could well be an original item. The chin strap is leather and the underside of the black peak is finished in the authentic green wartime specification. It carries no makers marks to indicate its origins and whilst no size is shown we would estimate it being a good fit on a size 22.5" diameter head or c. 56 cm.
