RAF Pilot's Mess Jacket Brevet

A padded bullion wire King's crown pilot mess dress wing with cotton backing in fantastic original condition. This would have been sewn to the Mess jacket lapel and worn when dining at special occasions in the Officers Mess. This brevet is much smaller than the standard set of pilots wings at 2.5" or 6.5 cm. Sadly no history with them but they are likely to date from WWII.
