Hawker Siddley Aviation was formed in 1948 while Hawker Siddley Aircraft Company originated in 1935 and were responsible for aircraft such as the Sea Vixen, Hunter and the classic Trident airliner. Hawker Siddley were merged with British Aerospace in 1977. We have no provenance with this item but assume it was used in one of its factories or possibly on an HS exhibition trade stand.
