HMS Undine Royal Navy Life Ring

An original example from the U Class Destroyer launched in 1943 and adopted by the town of Windermere. She won battle honours in the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Normandy Landings and Okinawa. She was finally broken up in 1965 when the ring was recovered and formed part of the famous Ferrers Walker Collection. The condition could be described as "shabby chic" with some wear to the transfers, although the ship's crest featuring a mermaid diving into the sea is still clearly visible. Measures 31" (79 cm)
