Large 8 Spoke Ship's Wheel

in polished mahogany. Heavy brass hub and fittings. Brass thimble on king post to indicate to the helmsman the neutral rudder position. A heavy wheel probably dating from the 1950's. The actual vessel is unknown but likely to be a working boat of some description. Diameter - 36" (92 cm)
