Trench Art Tankard celebrating the North African Campaign

A wonderful example depicting the North African coastline from Morocco through Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, with cartoons showing soldiers, tanks and palm trees as well as a brief description of events and dates. These commence on the 8th November, 1942 with American landings in Morocco and conclude on 13th May, 1945. The tankard has been manufactured from brass salvaged from the actual battle fields in North Africa and makes a wonderful momento of that critical campaign in WWII. Height 4.75" (12.5 cm)
