Presentation Gavel named to Woolwich Arsenal

A fine polished hardwood example with an engraved plaque reading "Woolwich Arsenal 1914-1918 R.S.F. No. I.C.P. Presented to G.A.Sheppard." Unfortunately, we have no history with this item, but if any visitors to the site can enlighten us, we would be glad to hear from them! Length from head to tip of handle 8.5" (22 cm)
