Swastika Motif Hat Pin

We believe this fine example probably dates from the 1020's when the swastika device was considered a symbol of well being and predates its adoption as a symbol of the Nazi Party in the 1930's. This hat pin has an arts & crafts feel to it and features inset clear and emerald coloured stones. It carries no makers marks and we'll leave it to the experts to decide on its age and origins.
