All prices are quoted net in UK Pounds (sterling, £) excluding cost of packaging, carriage and insurance.
Once requirement is known we will then obtain an actual freight quotation to end destination (with insurance if required) and provide a firm final purchase amount.
Payment is on basis of cash prior to despatch. We prefer to receive funds in British Pounds sterling by cash, cheque (made payable to Oldnautibits), postal order or banker's draft. If sterling pounds are a problem for you, we can accept payment in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, or other currencies by agreement. We will confirm the conversion rate to be used prior to finalising any transactions. We prefer to receive payment by registered mail (for mutual security) or electronically directly to our bank (details on request).
The Enquiry Form (associated with a stock listing) has a checkbox to "Reserve" that item. We will flag that item as being "Reserved" for seven days after we have responded to the enquiry. If we have heard nothing further from the enquirer during the next seven days, we will remove the "Reserved" status from that item.
We can now accept secure credit card payments through PayPal.
We will supply the necessary details to enable payment by this method when we confirm your order.
We guarantee to despatch all orders placed within 48 hours of receipt of cleared funds. Where this is not possible, we will confirm delivery schedule at the time of order placement.
We will pack all items appropriately for international despatch worldwide. We strongly recommend, particularly with fragile or high value items, that insurance cover is taken out against loss or damage. If you require us to insure on your behalf, please confirm at the time of order placement.
We aim to describe as fully and accurately as possible all items offered on our inventory. We will point out any known faults or restoration which may have occurred. Additional digital images can normally be emailed to assist in making a final purchase decision.
All items are guaranteed original unless advised otherwise in our description. Items are sold as described on the basis of historical collectors' pieces and cannot be guaranteed for the original use for which they were intended as much of our stock is now at least 60 years old. We cannot accept any liability for any items used for purposes other than display.
We are unable to give a warranty on items purchased for the reasons detailed above. For your added protection, if you are not 100% happy with any article or articles purchased from us, we operate a refund policy. Goods must be returned in the condition as received, appropriately packed, and at the buyer's expense within 30 days of the original despatch date. We will then refund the agreed purchase price of the item but excluding outward carriage and insurance.
The Directors and Staff of Oldnautibits cannot accept any liability for all and any circumstances outside of the Company's control.
Oldnautibits reserve the right to withhold certain items from our inventory for supply to unspecified international destinations to avoid infringing any local restrictions.
