Yacht or Launch Boarding Ladder

Probably made by Davy & Company, London. Manufactured from mahogany and finished in varnish with chrome plated brass fittings. Can be stored folded when not in use and by releasing the hook, can be extended to double its length. While for sale as a collector's item, we believe these steps could be used for their intended purpose although we own a similar set of steps which make a very fine book case in a nautically themed cloakroom! Measures 30.6" x 6" (folded) (77 cm x 16 cm) and 54" (137 cm) extended.
