| RAF Mk IA (M) 'Bone Dome' - Stores Ref. 22C/2114, complete with fitted visor. The lot includes a 'G' Type fabric inner helmet Size 2 (but fits bigger) and a 'P' Type oxygen mask with oxygen tube. All items are named to Fl. Lt. Lewis with dates from 1961. This is the first of the RAF "Hard Hat" helmets as used on the "V Bombers" - they are becoming increasingly hard to find. Some service wear, but overall a nice original set.

| Escape Boots - RAF, 1943 pattern 22c/917. The suede leg section was designed to be cut away if the owner was forced down in enemy territory. The remaining shoe section looked like civilian footwear to aid an escape undetected. This is a nice example in size 8 (42), slight damage to one zip and, like most escape boots, the secret knife is missing.

| Oxygen Mask and Microphone - RAF, Post-War, 'H2' Type, small size, mint unissued condition.

| Silver Cigarette Case - A superb presentation example by Mappin & Webb of London. Silver hallmarked to 1940. Engraved with RAF wings and initials D.J.D. and presentation inscription dated 21.12.40. Further research required but could have been property of F/L D. J. Dawson or P/O D. J. Devitt – both detailed on the Air Force list for 1938. A unique RAF item of Battle of Britain vintage.

| 'Channel' Flying Jacket - Luftwaffe winter weight. Blue Shearling, fleece lined and heavy dark brown fur collar. Some old repairs but overall good condition, chest size c. 42. Also matching Channel trousers with numerous zips, survival pockets, etc. in matching blue shearling. In near mint condition. Large size.

| Tropical Aviation Headgear - Fleet Air Arm 'D' Type. First pattern introduced in 1942. Twill outer, silk lining, zip leather earcups with original foam pads, but earphones not fitted. Provision for D or E Type oxygen mask.

| Irvin Flying Jacket - An original and early, RAF example, circa 1940. A four panel construction with original Dot zips throughout, chain hanger but no label. Minor repairs, but no patches and good stitching. This jacket is approx. 42-43 (107-109 cm) chest and being of Battle of Britain vintage, is very collectable, particularly in this size and condition.
