The second is dated 28 September 1942, by which time Tyrie had become a Squadron Leader and was given this tankard as a present from his 'local' pub, The Manor House.

 | RAF Log Book - named to W/Commander G P Gibson DFC. This is a superb replica of Gibson's Log Book no. 2 (the original is in the Public Records Office, London) and was printed in 1976. This is now a collector's item in its own right and covers the Dams Raid, Award of VC, etc. Superb. As close as you can get to owning the real thing!
